Spotted turtle breeding technology

The dove meat is delicate, has a good taste, is delicious and nutritious. At the same time, the doves are shaped like pigeons, feathers are smooth, and they are tame and have a high ornamental value. The fertility breeding period is relatively short, generally 4 to 5 weeks of age can be sold as a commercial bird, weighing only 200-300 grams, priced at 5 yuan, low cost of feeding, high economic efficiency, market demand. The breeding techniques are now described as follows: The venues for the establishment of sites for breeding mothballs should be selected on well-ventilated, dry, high-lying sunny slopes. Usually 40--60 square meters to set up a cage, cage height of 2.5-3 meters, bamboo scaffolding, tied with plastic mesh. A 6 square shed is placed inside the cage for rain, weather, and shade. Bird cages should be raised 1.5-2 meters above the ground, made of bamboo or tree branches and artificial nests to facilitate the breeding of birds. Selecting breeding birds should select large, robust, disease-free pairs of adults aged 4-5 weeks as breeding birds. Birds need to feed individually, and add some foods rich in protein and lecithin in the feed to facilitate breeding. Breeding and brooding breeding birds usually spawn in the spring and autumn. In the case of artificial rearing, artificial injections of estrogens to females can be used to promote their short-term estrus and allow eggs to be laid every month. The postpartum eggs are collected and placed in an incubator for artificial hatching. During the incubation process, the temperature and relative humidity should be adjusted to ensure that the shelling rate is above 98%. When hatchlings are newly hatched, care should be taken to keep them warm and drink water in a timely manner. Drinking water should be replaced with a 0.02% potassium permanganate solution in a clean container and replaced every 4 hours. The fledglings generally have foraging behavior 6-8 hours after hatching. The food is best to choose small and easily digestible foods such as millet or broken rice. Chicks pellet feed is also available. One week later, 20% seeds of plants such as gardenia and rice can be added to the feed. After 2 weeks, seeds of various plants such as gardenia, rice, and millet can be fed. It is timely to prevent diseases in artificial breeding, high density, easy to infect diseases, cages should be regularly disinfected, timely cleaning of feces, and regular epidemic prevention. The diseased bird should be treated in isolation and the dead bird should be buried or burned. The time period for selling the quail is very short. Usually 4-5 weeks old can grow into adult birds. In order to save feed and increase efficiency, commodity birds should generally be sold at 4-5 weeks of age.
