Because one of the key factors in controlling weight is to make the chicks have a good start, especially the first 72 hours of the chicken's life is very important, not only determine the ability to resist the invasion of disease, and this initial stage determines the development of the chicken skeleton. The weight of 7-14 days should meet or exceed the body weight standard. During the brooding period, high-energy (12.1 MJ/kg) high-protein (19%-19.5%) full-priced compound feeds should be provided. At the end of the four-week period, hens should have 850-900 g/mole of feed accumulation and 10.5 MJ of energy.
Precautions: In any stage of early growth, appropriate measures should be taken immediately when the body weight is not up to standard or when the appetite is poor. Take measures as soon as possible to avoid adverse consequences caused by poor uniformity and obstructed development of important physiological organs in the late brooding period.
