The main technical points of potato fertilization

(I) Base fertilizer

More than 80% of the fertilizers absorbed by potatoes come from basal fertilizers, and special emphasis must be placed on the application of basal fertilizers in cultivation. The amount of basal fertilizer is generally 2500~3000kg per acre applied to fertilizer, and more than 5000kg. Insufficient basal fertilizer or arable land before the fertilization, often at the time of sowing, with high-quality compost 1000 kg per mu, and with urea 3 kg, calcium superphosphate 15 ~ 20 kg, 30-50 kg of plant ash, as a seed fertilizer for furrow application or Acupuncture points should be fully decomposed.

(B) Dressing

The seedling period of potato is short, but it is the foundation period for rooting and hair growth. After releasing the seedlings, we must pay close attention to early application of fertilizer, and apply 15-20 kg of available nitrogen fertilizer per acre, which can be sprinkled in the rows, then cultivating and watering. When the potato enters the hair growth stage and sees the buds, it can use l00 kg of plant ash or 20 kg of potassium sulfate per mu, which can prevent the premature decline of the yam. After flowering, it enters the period of potato growth and can determine whether it is top-dressing. For example, if the stems and leaves fall too early, a small amount of topdressing nitrogen may be applied to prolong the growth period of the stems and leaves. Can also be plant ash, superphosphate and water, according to the ratio of 1:10:10, after the filter spray. Generally no fertilizer after dressing.

According to reports, spraying manganese, zinc, and iron fertilizers to the leaves during the period of bud stage and budding stage of potato can prevent yellowing of the leaves and increase yield. Boron has special effects on the promotion of the transportation and development of carbohydrates in plants. For example, there is a phenomenon of boron deficiency in soil, and 0.01% borax solution can be used to impregnate tubers, and the yield increase effect is obvious.

(III) Fertilizer standards for potatoes

For every thousand kilograms of potatoes produced, 3.1 kg of nitrogen, 1.5 kg of phosphorus, and 4.4 kg of potassium are required.
