Algeria to increase imports of 102 drugs

According to the Decree of the Ministry of Health of Algeria on November 30, 2008, regarding the ban on the import of pharmaceuticals for human consumption, Azerbaijani Ministry of Health recently confirmed the third restricted import drug list, involving 102 drugs for human use. .
The first ban on importing drug bills was established last November and involved 111 drugs. All of them are medicines whose demand can be satisfied with 100% local production.
Algeria has set a target plan for 70% of its medicines to be produced in the country by 2014. At present, Azerbaijan has 239 kinds of medicines that restrict imports. In 2009, Azerbaijan imported a total of 2 billion US dollars in medicines.
