British Customs Administration Says U.S. Wheat Exports Surged by 45% in November 2010

Beijing De Runlin January 20 news: According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs of the United Kingdom, the UK wheat exports exceeded the government's expectations in the first five months of 2010/11.
The total wheat exports so far this year have reached 1.66 million tons, which is much higher than the level of the same period of last year and 330,000 tons more than the annual forecast of the UK Department of Agriculture.
In November last year, the UK exported 472,023 tons of wheat, an increase of 45% from the 324,182 tons exported in October.
Analysts expect that the UK's wheat exports this year may double the government’s forecast of 1.33 million tons.
