New seedling early tea seedling protection technology

In recent years, Chun'an County has accelerated the pace of development of clonal early-generation tea. By the beginning of 2007, Pan'an County has planted 53,000 mu of clonal early-born tea (1 mu = 667 square meters, the same below), and 38,000 mu of it has been put into operation. There are still 15,000 mu of drought-resistant seedlings that need to be strengthened to improve the survival rate. Especially for tea gardens planted in winter and spring, the following seedling protection measures must be taken.

1. Paving grass in time to keep water and cool, loose soil, is the key technology to fight drought. It is best to cut grass and grass before the mold is done. It would be better if it could be laid early. More than 1,000 kilograms of grass per acre. Spread on both sides of the tea line, thicker than 10 cm.

2. The weeds in the weeding and nursery tea line should compete with the tea seedlings for glory, and must be removed in time. Can be removed by hand, but can not move the soil, the time of weeding is best carried out before and after the mold season, do not use glyphosate.

3. Thin fertilization tea planting roots and long leaves consume a lot of nutrients, although the base fertilizer has been applied at the time of planting, but the tea seedlings have not been absorbed and utilized in the same year, so it is necessary to apply fertilizer in small amounts and multiple times in a timely manner. After the tea seedlings survive, it is generally required to fertilize once a month. Start with 10% water and dung, and after June, apply once a month, apply 10 kg of special fertilizer per acre or 5 kg of urea, and dig a hole 6 cm away from the tea bush.

4. Watering and drought resistance into the dry season, pouring water every half month. The amount of water per acre is not less than 3,000 kg, and the water is replenished at the same time to moisten the soil at the root of the tea tree; it is best to use a sprinkler to sprinkle water. Watering and sprinkling should be carried out before 9 am or after the sun goes down.

5. Prevention and control of pests and diseases Young tea trees are most vulnerable to the damage of small green leafhoppers and mites. It is found that pests and diseases should be controlled in time. You can use 35% of Saidan 50-70 ml per mu, or 10% imidacloprid 15-20 mg, or 20% of tetraterpene 50-70 ml to spray water.
