It is a crucial period for the harvest of river crabs to be harvested throughout the year. Special attention must be paid to the following aspects:
First, strengthen feeding
The crab rearing period is a fattening period, which is to strengthen the accumulation of nutrients and increase crab yellow. The more crab yellow, the greater the weight gain and the more pure the taste. In the later stage of crab feeding, feed should be mainly animal feed, accounting for 60% to 70%, and plant feed should account for 30% to 40%. The best choice for animal feed is chilled fish, wild fish, snails, oysters and other shellfish; plant feed can choose wheat, corn and so on. Feeds should be fresh and not spoiled. Feed 1 to 2 times a day. The amount of feed in the morning accounts for 1/3 of the daily feed, and the amount of feed in the evening accounts for 2/3 of the daily feed. The daily feeding rate was 5% to 15%, and the amount of feeding was adjusted every day according to the diet of crabs.
Second, adjust the water quality
Due to the high density of crabs and shrimps and the accumulation of excrements such as baits and crabs and shrimps, and the organic matter in the water, coupled with the early autumn, the water temperature is still relatively high, and it is very easy to cause deterioration of water quality. Maintain a higher water level to increase the amount of fish in the water and reduce the rapid changes in water temperature, ammonia and other water quality physical and chemical factors. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the management of aquatic plants and keep aquatic plants clean and fresh. The amount of aquatic plants accounts for about 60% of the pond area, and the water quality is in a good state of “fat, live, tender, and coolâ€.
Third, do a good job of daily management

Morning patrol pond: A look at whether the crab climbed into the water or the shore, such as climbing on the grass or the shore, indicating that the dissolved oxygen in the water was not enough, but it was automatically triggered when the water came out slightly, indicating that the water quality was normal. Second, see if the feed that was fed the night before was eaten. Consider the increase or decrease in the amount of feed and the number of feeds based on the remaining feed. Third, look at the status of crab shells: crabs are generally shelled before dawn, such as more clam shells, indicating normal growth. At noon patrol pond: mainly determine the water quality and water temperature, observe the drop of water level, the pool edge has no predator crab shells or limbs, etc., pool urn has no loopholes, whether the escape prevention facilities damage. Once found, take immediate action. Night patrol pond: The main observation of river crab eating and activities. If it is found that the feed intake is not strong, or the feed is released into the mouth and released, it means that the quality of the feed is not good. If it is found in the pool, it is easy to capture by hand, indicating that the crab may be sick and need to focus on disease prevention.
2, pay attention to prevent escape. Especially in the rainy days, sweltering days, deterioration of water quality, and lack of oxygen, the crabs are easy to escape from the shore, and they must be checked and prevented from fleeing the net at any time.
