At present, the city's high-water aquaculture has developed rapidly and its scale has continued to expand. The aquaculture area has reached 20,000 mu. The farming techniques are summarized below.
1 Construction of the embankment The mud in the dam body was built on the mud taken out during the excavation of the pond. The embankment was 0.8-1m high, 2m wide at the top, and 8m wide at the end. In order to prevent mudflats, crabs and other tidal flats from making holes in dams, causing leakage of dams and erosion by wind and waves, a protective layer can be covered on the surface of the dam. The protective layer consists of plastic sheets and dense mesh polyethylene mesh. The bottom of the protective layer is covered with mud and compacted.
2 Breeding ponds Each aquaculture pond shall be constructed with an area of ​​5-10 mu, and the excavation depth shall be 0.5m.
