At present, one of the main reasons for the low yield of Pleurotus ostreatus is the low water content of the culture material after Pleurotus ostreatus is harvested. But at this time, the mycelium of Pleurotus ostreatus has covered the entire culture material and it is difficult to replenish water. How to moisturize the culture material and produce more mushrooms has become an important factor for the high yield of oyster mushrooms. There are three techniques:
1. Mushroom stick wall-type soil covering and moisturizing. Lay a 15-20 cm thick soil ridge according to the length of the bacteria bag in the shed, and remove the plastic bag (called the mushroom stick) from the bacteria bag that is about to bloom. Arrange the sticks neatly on the ridge. Each row is covered with 3~4 cm thick soil, spray water on both sides of the soil and smooth with mud. Then discharge the second layer of fungus sticks and cover with soil, 6-9 layers can be discharged, and the top layer must be covered with soil and smoothed. After finishing the wall, spray big water once to make the covering soil absorb enough water. After that, spray water every day to keep the soil moist, and manage fruiting according to routine. This method can increase the yield of oyster mushroom by 50% to 90%.
2. The formula of the nutritious soil covered with the mouth of the bag is: 45 kilograms of fertile soil and 5 kilograms of plant ash. The amount of water added is to grab a handful of soil and let go at a height of 1 meter. The bagging cultivation management is the same as the conventional method, except that 2~3cm thick nutrient soil is filled at both ends of the bag. During the fruiting period, spray water on the nutrient soil 1 to 2 times a day, and other management should be carried out as usual. This method can increase the output by about 50%.
3. Pleurotus ostreatus is planted in a moisturizing bag with soil covering the yang borders. After harvesting the mushrooms, take them off the bag and expose them to the sun for 1 to 2 days to make a layer of skin on the surface of the sticks to prevent the invasion of diseases and insect pests and inhibit the occurrence of excessive fruiting bodies. Cut longitudinally with a sterilized kitchen knife, and arrange the cut surface up on the male border. Fill the gaps with fine sand, and then cover 2 to 3 cm thick fine soil.
Finally, an aqueous solution containing superphosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate and white sugar was filled with a ratio of 2:0.2:1:100, and it was managed as usual. This method can increase output by more than 80%.
