Tomato storage method

As summer approaches, various agricultural products begin to mature. To make agricultural products sell at a good price, many farmers often use agricultural products for storage and preservation until the off-season to increase the price of agricultural products. Here are three ways to preserve fresh tomatoes. First, the plastic bag storage method. The tomatoes were first packed into plastic bags of 45 cm-60 cm in width and 30 cm in width made of 0.04 mm thick polyethylene film, and then pinched in the lower 1/3 of the bag mouth with 3 pairs of pins. For symmetrical holes, the bag is sealed and placed in a cool, dry room. Second, the chemical storage method. 1. Sulphur dioxide lime water soaking method: Sulfur dioxide is introduced into the clarified saturated lime water solution to make a pH value of 4.5 to 4.6. The soaked tomato is soaked in the inside. Let the soaking solution be 2 cm to 3 cm higher than the tomatoes, and use a clean wooden board to hold the tomatoes to prevent them from invading the water and infecting the bacteria. Then, seal the container mouth with hemp paper and store it at a relatively low temperature. If the temperature is too high, 0.1% sodium benzoate can be added to the reservoir to prevent bacterial infection. 2, sulfite lime water immersion method: the analysis of pure 6% of the sulfite water into a 0.3% of the Greek release solution, and then with saturated lime water to adjust the pH value of 4.5 to 4.6, the red tomato soaked, operation The procedure is the same as above. Using this method to store tomatoes for 4 months, the good fruit rate reaches %%. The cost is low and the effect is good. Third, the atmosphere storage method. 1.Characteristics and Advantages: Atmosphere storage is one of the best storage methods currently available. Compared with other storage methods, it can prolong storage and reduce losses. This method can store tomatoes produced during the high season in July to the off-season in August. In the city, autumn tomatoes can also be freshly stored in the Spring Festival. 2. Storage method: Atmosphere storage is carried out in a ventilation warehouse. Pick fresh and not fully ripe tomatoes into the storage baskets, each containing about 25 kg. Before stacking, lay a piece of plastic film on the ground that is slightly larger than the bottom of the raft, and then sprinkle about 20 kg of lime on the membrane, and place the raft on it to make a basket. It is generally rectangular, six baskets long, four baskets high, two baskets wide, and 48 baskets per basket. After the weights are good, cover them with the pre-prepared storage tents, and then pick up the edges together with the plastic film on the floor. Then cover the four accounts with the cover and tighten the account. The small holes used for detection should be plugged with stoppers. 3. Note: The gas content in the account must be adjusted manually or naturally during storage. In rural areas, the method of natural adjustment is used, that is, oxygen is used to breathe oxygen from the fruit itself, and oxygen is gradually consumed to the content range required by the storage, and then the regulation is controlled within this range. Using this method, check once every half month, timely picking out ripe and rotting fruit, and also play a role in ventilation. If possible, gas analyzer can also be used to determine the gas composition in the account. If the oxygen content is less than 2%, the oxygen can be supplied by the blower. If the carbon dioxide is higher than 6%, some nitrate lime should be added.
