Pig house disinfection

Clean the house first, then use 20% lime milk or 3% caustic soda water and 20% bleach to disinfect. After the disinfection is completed, the pigs' doors and windows should be closed for 2 hours to 3 hours before they are opened. Soil disinfection

The soil surface should be cleaned of excrement, grass and other dirt, and then remove the upper layer of soil, and finally sprinkled with 20% bleach or 20% lime milk, 3% hot caustic soda.

Manure and sewage disinfection

A small amount of feces, bedding, etc. can be buried deep. If the amount of feces is more, fermentation can be used to disinfect. The method is to dig a shallow ditch a little further from the pig house, about 40 cm deep, about 2 meters wide, and the length depends on the amount of feces. At the bottom, first lay a layer of healthy swine manure, then pile the sick pig manure, cover a layer of healthy swine manure and weeds on the sick pig manure, and finally seal it with thin mud. When the pig manure is very thin, dry soil or dry comminuted grass can be added. When it is too dry, appropriate amount of water can be added to allow it to be fermented quickly. Summer and autumn about 1 month, winter and spring about 2 months, you can achieve the purpose of disinfection.

Sewage in diseased pig houses can be sterilized by fermentation in the faeces when there is a small amount. When the amount is large, 2% of quicklime powder or 0.2% of bleaching powder can be added to the total amount of sewage for disinfection.
